Bypass Tools

Often when performing non destructive entry into cars or property its easier to bypass the lock completely rather than pick it. When beginners ask me 'How do I pick a door lock' I will often suggest a bypass tool first due to their simplicity and speed. In fact, in all the time I have been lock picking, I have opened more locked doors with MICA than any other tool!

Bypass tools tend to avoid the pins, wafers, etc altogether, opting more to focus on the latch, or other target that will compromise the locking mechanism.
